USM NYC MIDTOWN by Ben Ganz
Launching designer Ben Ganz's second collection with USM for PIN–UP HOME during NYCxDesign, the collection debuted at the legendary Bergdorf Goodman in New York City.
USM Modular Furniture announces the launch of USM NYC MIDTOWN in collaboration with Swiss designer Ben Ganz for New York-based PIN–UP HOME. Following the success of USM NYC in 2022, the first USM multi-piece collection released in partnership with an independent designer. USM presents a refined extension of Ganz’s original vision.
USM NYC MIDTOWN features four signature configurations, selected from the most popular designs in the original collection. Each piece is inspired by New York’s urban design typologies, reflecting the city's dynamic architectural landscape. For the MIDTOWN edition, Ganz employs a monochromatic palette of black and white, emphasising timeless elegance and structural sophistication. With this second offering, USM continues to push the boundaries of modular design, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and Swiss craftsmanship.
The USM NYC MIDTOWN collection made its public debut in midtown Manhattan during New York Design Week 2025. The launch includes a special presentation in the iconic Fifth Avenue windows of Bergdorf Goodman’s Men’s Store, along with a pop-up installation on the store’s third floor. The presentation was conceived by Ganz, in collaboration with Shane Ruth of Bergdorf Goodman.
As part of the launch, an accompanying campaign conceived by Ganz presents the collection in a domestic setting, showcasing the versatility of the pieces as they hold books alongside unexpected household items such as teddy bears, inflatable toys, and even bananas.
