From the welcome area to the meeting rooms, and not forgetting the information terminals, USM furniture creates a sleek and contemporary environment that is in keeping with the mission statement of the Pavilion: to inspire dialogue and connection.

The USM contribution is particularly significant in 2025, as it coincides with an important milestone: the 60th anniversary of the creation of USM Haller furniture! This sustainable heritage highlights our philosophy regarding timeless design – a concept that is embodied to magnificent effect within the spaces of the Pavilion.

Designed by Swiss architect Manuel Herz, the Pavilion itself is constructed using renewable materials and features a recyclable structure. The USM modular furniture system integrates perfectly with this vision as it is designed for long-term use and is entirely reusable — these values stand in perfect harmony with the theme of Expo 2025: "Designing future society for our lives", and are also in keeping with Switzerland's environmental commitments.
